Join Ellie Yu, a renowned young artist from Taiwan, for an exclusive workshop at Ichen Art Academy! Known for her vibrant and lively sketches of everyday scenes—ranging from travel spots to bustling markets and festive celebrations--Ellie’s work captures warmth and approachability. With extensive experience teaching at colleges/art schools and conducting international plein-air demonstrations, Ellie has inspired countless students with her unique techniques and artistic vision.
In this workshop, you'll learn Ellie’s signature quick sketch methods to depict people, cars, architecture, and plants. By the end of the workshop, you’ll create three unique artworks to take home!

Art Supplies Needed

• Paint Brush Set: Professional Artist Paint Brush Set
• Instructor’s Signature Brush Set ($45) – If Needed
• Watercolor Paint Set: Winsor & Newton Cotman Sketchers’ Pocket Box (14-Piece)
• Watercolor Final Paper: Arches Watercolor Paper 11x17 (Can also be purchased for $4 per sheet at the office; 3-5 sheets needed for final work.)
• Micron pen set 
• Students may bring their own watercolor paper, brushes, palette, and paint.
