For new students, please request a free trial class to have your level assessed. You can then select summer programs based on your level.

CCA

CCA students can choose the following summer programs:

• Summer Art Camps for Ages 5 to 9
• Regular summer art class (CCA)
• For those ages 8 or 9, Digital Art and Animation can also be an option.

DS1-Basics

DS1-Basics level students can choose the following programs:

• Summer Art Camps for Ages 5 to 9
• Regular summer art class (DS1B)
• Digital Art and Animation camp
• For those ages 10 or older, summer art workshops that are marked "All" or "Beginner" can also be considered

DS1

DS1 level students can choose the following programs:

• Digital Art and Animation camp
• ​Summer art workshops that are marked "All" or "Beginner" Level
• ​Open Studio

DS2B or DS2

DS2B or DS2 students can choose the following programs:

• Digital Art and Animation camp​
• ​Summer art workshops that are marked "All" or "Beginner" Level
• ​Open Studio
• Summer art workshops with level "Int./Adv" can be considered if prerequisites are met.​
• Digital Art Track esp. "Digital Art for Beginner/Intermediate" workshop is recommended if you want to join our Digital Art for Beginner class this fall quarter.

DS23 or DS3

DS23 or DS3 students can choose the following programs:

• Summer Art Workshops with Level "All", "Beginner", "Int/Adv", "Adv".
• Summer Art Workshops with Level "Portfolio" for DS3, optional for DS23.
• Color Series Track esp. Oil Painting is highly recommended if you want to start oil painting this fall quarter.
• Digital Art Track esp. "Digital Art for Beginner/Intermediate" workshop is recommended if you want to join our Digital Art for Beginner class this fall quarter.

AP Art Prep

Students at AP Art Prep can choose the following programs:

• AP Art Boot Camp
• ​Summer Art Workshops that are marked "All", "Beginner", "Int./Adv.", "Adv." or "Portfolio"
• ​Digital Art and Animation camp esp. "Advanced Procreate Animation"

Art Portfolio for AP or College Application

Students what will be taking AP Art in 2023-2024 school year, or who are rising seniors may consider taking these programs:

• AP Art Boot Camp (to work on your AP Art portfolio or college art portfolio production
• Private lessons if you are aiming for top art colleges and majors
• Any Summer Art Workshops esp. those credited courses.
