UCLA Design Media Art

UCLA's Design Media Arts program is an interdisciplinary major combining design, media, and computation to create innovative visual communications and interactive experiences. Students explore graphic design, motion graphics, web/app design, interactive installations, and experimental media. The program emphasizes critical thinking about visual culture, technology's role in society, and conceptual approaches to design problems. Strong connections to LA's design, entertainment, and tech industries provide networking and career opportunities.
