• Make-up Policy

  To qualify for a makeup class, students must notify our office through email or phone call at least 24 hours prior to their absence. Any missed classes are non-refundable. Makeup classes must be taken within the same quarter and cannot be transferred to future quarters or applied towards tuition for subsequent quarters or private lessons. If a student fails to attend a scheduled makeup class without providing at least 24-hour notice, a second makeup opportunity will not be granted.
• Refund Policy

  For regular quarter classes (Winter, Spring, or Fall), tuition is non-refundable once registration is completed and classes have begun. If a student is unable to attend the remainder of the quarter, parents must notify our school promptly. We can then arrange for the student to transfer to a different class or, in the case of a verified medical condition preventing class attendance, issue a school credit for future use. Summer camps and workshops have separate refund policies, which are clearly stated on their respective program materials.
  
• 9- and 12-Month Plan Deposit Policy

  A $100 deposit is required for each class enrolled under the 9- or 12-month plan. This deposit will be refunded upon plan completion. During the final quarter of your plan, you may either:
  

  • Reduce the quarter's tuition payment by $100, or
  • Request our office to apply the $100 towards renewing your plan

  Early termination of a 9- or 12-month plan will result in forfeiture of the $100 deposit and the loss of eligibility to enroll in future long-term plans. Future enrollments will be limited to the standard 3-month (quarterly) plan.
  
• Student Artwork Public Display Policy

  Ichen Art Academy recognizes the creativity and artistic achievements of our students and seeks to provide opportunities to showcase their work. By enrolling at Ichen Art Academy, students and their legal guardians grant the school permission to publicly display students' artwork on the school website and social media platforms.

  Students or their legal guardians may request the removal of any artwork from the school's digital platforms at any time, and the school will promptly remove the artwork upon receiving such a request.

  • New Year's Day

  • Memorial Day Weekend

  • Independence Day (July 4)
  • Labor Day Weekend
    

  • Thanksgiving Week

  • Christmas Week
