- Watercolor Pad 11x15 (required by Ms. Hattie’s, Ms. Sasha's classes)
- Watercolor Pad 9x12 (required by Ms. Wendy’s and Mr. Ken's classes)
- Prisma color pencils 72 colors
- Fine tips sharpies (think sharpie) + Ultra fine tips sharpies (thin sharpie)

Drawing and Sketch Level 1 Basics (Ages 8 to 9)

Oil Painting

Teachers suggested that the paint is water-based, and is non-toxic. If students had purchased the oil-based oil painting set (Ichen Art Academy – Oil Painting Material List on Blick), please switch to the water-base paint after using up their old oil-base set.
Chinese Painting and Calligraphy

- Black felt: 1 yard (Could be purchased at Joann's Fabric, Michael, and Walmart)
- Practice paper(Daiso, 100 or 60 per pack)
- Ink (Daiso sells for $1.50)
- Final paper( Xuan or Pi paper, from Mrs. Wu)
- Chinese painting brushes (at least 1 big one and 1 small one)
- Chinese paint (HWC, Permanent Yellow, Carmine Red, Indigo Blue, orange, and Burnt Sienna) with poster white
- Plates to mix color
- Water container
- Hair dryer
- Spray bottle
Digital Illustration (Cartoon, Manga and Character Design)

- Digital Only (Students need know how to use digital app such as Photoshop or Procreate. But this class won't teach you how to use digital app.)
Digital Art Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced

- A laptop (a Windows PC or MacBook, but not a Chromebook) with Adobe Photoshop (Photography Plan, $9.99/mo) installed and a drawing tablet such as Wacom Intuos (available at BestBuy, Walmart, Target or Amazon).
3D Modeling with Maya

Supply List for UI/UX Design Supply List for Introduction to Graphic Design Students would need Adobe Creative Cloud esp.: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe Fonts (or a good selction of fonts on their computer). I believe the entire Creative Cloud is included in a 7 day trial, but check to confirm with Adobe. They will need access to a good range of typefaces, black marker pen and marker paper for sketching or they can do sketches digitally, camera or mobile phone camera (to take photos of sketches and other graphics to upload to the computer for viewing on zoom). |
